Part I - Antenna Fundamentals
Introduces students to the identification, operation, and
maintenance of radio antenna systems.
General operation of antennas is discussed, followed by antenna
gain, directivity and polarity. Popular antennas are identified
with exercises designed to help students identify and understand
antenna operation.
Part II – Antenna Component Devices & Applications
Overview
Learn antenna systems configurations, component devices, applications,
and how they work together as complete networks. This course
includes circulators, isolators, filters and combiners.
Part III – Antenna Installation & Maintenance
Overview
is devoted to antenna testing and maintenance. This course
demonstrates, through the use of student exercises, the standard
procedures used to test antenna systems.
Employees required to work in radio environments are encouraged
to take these courses. Non-technical students will benefit
by learning key network elements and antenna operation in
the workplace. |
