RSI’s RF Site Safety Awareness course;
newly updated for a new year!
This
“RF Site Safety Awareness”™ training course provides
information of accountability and responsibility for a safe work
site. This course will provide participants with a dynamic interactive
educational experience and is delivered by instructors with over
a century of combined knowledge. The class will envelop a comprehensive
overview focusing on best practices for due diligence and
compliance.
It also includes an extensive synopsis on cutting edge technology
advancements such as media flow, WiMax/3G, BDA systems,
Doppler, DTV/Digital radio and high-powered earth-based satellite
radio transponders.
This updated class covers not only new technologies and antenna
systems but covers best practices for the NEPA/EA/ requirements
and safety solutions. With all the safety issues facing the telecommunications
market today, your company cannot afford to be unprepared.
RSI uses real world examples and experience to bring these issues
into focus with appropriate work practices for the student's understanding.
Radiofrequency Safety International’s “RF Site Safety
Awareness”™ training is recommended in order to understand
FCC and OSHA policies and inform employees regarding radiofrequency
radiation and other safety issues. The FCC and OSHA have defined
radiofrequency (RF) radiation as a physical hazard. The FCC is now
doing site inspections and enforcement of these rules.
RSI’s “RF Site Safety Awareness”™ training
can provide you with all the necessary information you need to be
prepared at the job site. RSI’s “RF Site Safety Awareness”™
course focuses on the FCC regulations regarding RF exposure and
how they affect your company or site.
New for 2008:
Updated information on Work procedures while at RF site including
“Best Management Practices Plans” throughout the training
that can help build or update your RF program.
A Major update and new information on Working at and around hot
sites with AM detuning skirts and high RF and induced current.
OSHA Partnerships in use at wireless telecom sites and complete
overview of who, what, why and where.
The new Antenna 101 chapter will reveal updated information about
news, RF systems, and new antennas.

Each student will receive the new online glossary of tech and safety
terms and updated hands outs on CD.
Updates on FCC enforcement actions
A New chapter on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Environmental
Assessments (EA),and NHP act Nationwide Programmatic Agreement and
“Historic Preservation”, how it impacts RF safety and
ties together with “Best Management Practices”.

Passing this course does not in any way authorize
attendee to present themselves as a RSI authorized trainer nor
does it give attendee authority to utilize the RSI name or likeness
in any form including advertising, training, or development. Only
by passing the RSI Advanced Train the Trainer course, requesting
RSI to furnish official RSI training cards, and paying the required
fee per card, is an attendee allowed to provide their internal
employees with training cards that contain RSI information. RSI
Advanced Train the Trainer graduates are only authorized to issue
cards to persons that are direct hires for their company that
has paid for the training. These policies will be strictly enforced
including taking legal action to protect the RSI name and material.
